Fabric Overview

R51 – 32 oz – Silicone coated fiberglass welding blanket Fiberglass cloth impregnated with Hi Temp’s proprietary silicone elastomer coating, designed to handle stringent industrial applications. The red fabric provides long life and resistance to abrasion, tear and puncture. The material is solvent resistant and will not produce harmful levels of toxic gases when exposed to intense heat or flame. The material has an operating temperature of 900 degrees Fahrenheit and can withstand temperatures of up to 1750 degrees Fahrenheit. Typical uses would be for welding blanket, welding curtain, heat shields, splash curtains for molten metals, pre heat and post heat pads, and airtight wear resistant backing for insulated materials.

O51 – 20 oz – Silicone coated fiberglass-welding blanket Fiberglass cloth impregnated with Hi Temp’s proprietary silicone elastomer coating, designed to handle medium duty applications. The orange fabric provides long life and resistance to abrasion, tear and puncture. The material passes the most stringent tests in regard to toxicity and is solvent and water resistant. The material has an operating temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit and can withstand temperatures of up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. Typical uses would be for welding blanket, welding curtain, heat shields, and splash curtains for molten metals, pre heat and post heat pads, and airtight wear resistant backing for insulated materials.

P51 – 17oz - Silicone coated fiberglass-welding blanket Fiberglass cloth impregnated with Hi Temp’s proprietary silicone elastomer coating, designed to handle medium and light duty applications. The pink fabric provides long life and resistance to abrasion, tear and puncture. The material passes the most stringent tests in regard to toxicity and is solvent and water resistant. The material has an operating temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit and can withstand temperatures of up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Typical uses would be for welding blanket, welding curtain, heat shields, splash curtains for molten metals, pre heat and post heat pads, airtight wear resistant backing for insulated materials.

G51 – 17oz - Silicone coated fiberglass-welding blanket Fiberglass cloth impregnated with Hi Temp’s proprietary silicone elastomer coating, designed to handle medium and light duty applications. The grey fabric provides long life and resistance to abrasion, tear and puncture. The material passes the most stringent tests in regard to toxicity and is solvent and water resistant. The material has an operating temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit and can withstand temperatures of up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Typical uses would be for welding blanket, welding curtain, heat shields, splash curtains for molten metals, pre heat and post heat pads, airtight wear resistant backing for insulated materials and the manufacture of valve covers.

UN51 – 24 oz – Uncoated Fiberglass Welding Blanket Uncoated white fiberglass cloth built to handle light duty applications and uses where a flexible but porous material is best. Can be used as a light duty welding blanket, welding curtain, heat shield, splash curtain or for pre heat and post heat pads. The fabric has an operating temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit and can withstand temperatures up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit for short periods of time.
